Hi Wanda!

I agree! Right now the internet IS a breeding grounds for opportunity bashers. I think idea is to confuse people and then offer their own opportunity as a better substitute!

There are an awful lot of people out their claiming to have joined various business opportunities but quit because they found out that it was a scam. Basically, these messages are produced by SCAMMERS WHO WANT YOU TO BUY THEIR SECRET "GET RICH PRODUCT!"

There are others out there who promise to provide an HONEST REVIEW! From personal experience, I don't think that there is such a thing as an HONEST REVIEW, especially on the internet.

I can only tell you that from my own experience Ambit has always followed thru on their promises. My check comes like regular clock-work as long as I’m out there handing out business cards and dropping off flyers.

I have given up trying to market online because the field is so crowded. Some of my friends use Craigslist, Backpages and kijiji.

I also seen some people use Adlandpro, USFreeAds, Classifiedsforfree and job posting sevices.

My own feeling is that nothing beats consistantly talking to people, passing out cards and running occasional local ads.

The network marketing business is a people business. You hear some people say that it’s a “Numbers Business”. Yes, it’s true. In the beginning, it seems that you need to talk to 1000 people and get a 999 NOs before you get your first yes.

But THAT’s BUSINESS. No business ever survives by simply opening a store and waiting for people to come to them. IT JUST DOESN’t WORK THAT WAY!

You have to let people know that you have a product to sell and that product MUST provide a REAL VALUE, otherwise you are just wasting your time and money.

When was the last time you heard of starting a business for $430 and $25/mo.?

If you understand “business”, then you understand that this is nothing compared to what it costs to start your own business.

The key is to not listen to the Nay Sayers and follow your dream where ever it takes you.

For me, I just wanted to earn extra income so that I could stay at home with the kids rather than fight freeway traffic to a regular job everyday.

Ambit has given me my dream and it continues to grow. That’s my two cents worth, and thanks for your comments, Wanda. Please visit my site often as I am constantly updating it with new posts!

I'm very glad to here about energy deregulation here in Texas, but I'm a bit confused. I've see billboards from Gexa, Bounce Energy, Direct Energy and there is another network marketing company out there call Ignite Energy.

It seems that a lot of these companies are bashing each other and bashing Ambit Energy.

I am tempted to become an a part time Ambit consultant, but I'm not sure who to believe. It seems that the internet has become breeding grounds for people who do nothing but bash income opportunities for the sake of promoting their own business model.

I just don't know who to believe!!!!

I live in Plano Texas, very close to Frisco. I was hoping to find is meeting near me in either Plano or Frisco. However, I see that the meeting on 635 in Addison is easy to get to if you don't mind traveling the George Bush Freeway Turn Pike to the North Dallas Tollway.

I really don't like the fact that it's going to cost me about $3.00 each way because of all the new toll roads in the area. Even highway 121 North and South is now a toll road.

Maybe I can make some extra money selling Ambit Energy.

BTW: Thanks for putting this website together. I have tried network marketing before selling vitamins and high nutrition drinks. I think this would be far easier because everybody uses electricity and could stand to save some money!
